SWR-First Grade Schedule

It's ready! My Spell to Write and Read schedule for 1st grade is done. This time I went through and chose which enrichments I want to do from the WISE Guide. That'll make it even more open-and-go for me.

This year we'll be doing 20 words/week and writing everything in cursive. D-Man actually asked to learn cursive, so he's pretty excited about it. We're already on week 2 of the schedule and love Cursive First.

Good job on the SWR First Grade schedule! I downloaded it the other day, but didn't get a change to comment on it. I'm sure I'll be referring to it when we start G1 in the fall. Thanks for sharing! :o)

Thanks! It really helps me to make out a schedule to follow during the year. I'm finding that while I don't like scripted programs, I do like open and go. D-Man is really looking forward to starting spelling lists again.

I was able to use your K schedule last year but am not able to print out the 1st grade schedule either through your blog or scribd. Are you selling it through scribd or is there a way I can print this out? Last year's was extremely helpful with 4 ESL students we adopted and I really like SWR but need a schedule like yours without reinventing the wheel. Thanks! - Lisa in DE

I used your K schedule last year and would really like to print out your 1st grade schedule for SWR. We adopted 4 ESL kids and this schedule was a life-saver for me, but for some reason I can't download without paying scribd. Are you now selling it? Please let me know. Thanks! - Lisa in DE

Lisa,

I'm not selling my schedules. I've been trying to figure out what Scribd has done to start charging. They might have changed their policies recently. I am working on transferring my files to another site that allows downloads for free. In the meantime, you can send me your e-mail address and I'll send you the file. I create all of my files for my family and want to share my work with others so that more can benefit from the work I'm doing anyway :). I'm glad the K schedule worked so well for you.
